William-Adolphe Bouguereau was a French academic painter and traditionalist. In his realistic genre paintings he used mythological themes, making modern interpretations of classical subjects, with an emphasis on the female human body. Bouguereau's "Idyll Enfantine" or "Childhood Idyll" from 1900, is part of the Denver Art Museum's collection and this 1000 -piece jigsaw puzzle is a reproduction of the original artwork. The finished puzzle is 26.5" x 19.25" and is made in the U.S.A.
