The cherry tree is a delight in all seasons, but especially in summer when it's hung with wonderful red fruits. These designs were inspired by a panel decorated with cherries in the Green Dining Room at the Victoria and Albert Museum, designed by the firm Morris, Marshall, Faulkner and Co. in 1886. William Morris was a major influence on the Arts and Crafts Movement, which adopted many of his ideals on the value of hand craftsmanship and the maintenance of truth and honesty in the materials of products. Materials: The Morello Cherry brooch is cast in bronze an accented with two hand formed red glass beads. Measures: 2.75"L x 2.25" W Artist Michael Michaud casts his jewelry from real flora collected in his travels around the world. The Silver Seasons collection features hand-crafted pieces, each capturing the unique details of genuine nature. Michaud finishes each design in bronze, sterling silver, or gold, adding genuine stone and pearl accents to capture the beauty of the natural world in eye-catching, stylish motifs.
