Blue Planet Movie is a wall mountable moving sand art enhanced with the extra dimension of a background image. The frame is lacquered to appear ombre faded, paired with a breathtaking background image of space surrounded by a vast spectacular galaxy. Hang the moving sand art on your wall (all hardware included), and much like a motion picture, watch it create a new scene with every turn. Dimensions: 16 1/2 x 11 1/2 inches Klaus Bosch, aka Sandman, is the creator of Klaus's Rainbow-Vision Sand Pictures. He handcrafts each one in his studio in Lustenau, Austria. The sand picture is essentially air, sand, and water enclosed within two panes of glass and framed with wood. The water provides the medium for the sand to fall and an air barrier separates the sand from the water. Once the sand finds a weakness in the air barrier, it begins to flow downward creating mountains, valleys, hills, and dunes as it settles on the bottom of the sand picture.
