Above Clouds Ring

This pill and dot pattern is inspired by Georgia O'Keeffe's Sky Above Clouds IV painting which captures the infinite dashes of clouds against blue sky. 3” long and 1” wide.

Karole, Grady and their son, Henry, make up a leather studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. 
Their work is a 'mescolanza'. A blending of Karole's Lithuanian heritage, Venezuelan upbringing, and Northern Californian education with Grady's New Mexico roots. Oropopo's collections draw deeply from scientific, historical, and environmental themes, blending function with desert literature. Every piece is a dialogue among the designer, the wearer and the collective history of the Southwest.
