A small bird cut-out on the front of the card opens to reveal a vibrant pop-up scene featuring abstract flowers and birds. This card is a part of a series of pop-up designs by Gerard Lo Monaco. "I wanted to engineer a series of pop-up cards which are like abstract compositions filled with optical illusion and trompe-l'oeil effects. The cards are made of one single piece of paper cut & folded such that there is no waste and a perfect harmony of positive and negative."
