Artist Alexander Viazmensky calls mushrooms “flowers of the woods.” For decades he has specialized in painting life-sized mushroom portraits and personality-filled bouquets. He teaches classes in botanical art in Russia and the United States, and his artwork is held in museums and scientific collections around the world.
