This bookmark was inspired by a tulip in Jacob Marrel ‘s Tulip book, c. 1640. In the 17th century in the Netherlands, flowers were costly, and tulips were the costliest of all. Tulip bulbs were avidly collected and large sums changed hands for unusual specimens. The book may have been a sales catalog or the record of a collector's tulips. Finish: Solid brass, electro-plated with non-tarnishing silver finish, giclee print Dimensions: Approx. 1.75" W x 3.75" L
