A handcrafted vase inspired by rolling hills, smoky mountains, and glowing peaks.
“Everybody wants to reach the peak, but there is no growth on the top of a mountain. It is in the valley that we slog through the lush grass and rich soil, learning and becoming what enables us to summit life’s next peak.” -Andy Andrews
The celadon color palette is inspired by the subtle beauty of ocean waves as well as turquoise and agate. Each vase is handmade by artist Thomas Spake in his Tennessee glassblowing studio. After the vessel has been blown and cooled to room temperature, the top of the sculptural vase is engraved using a diamond wheel, carving through the exterior to reveal the interior color. The matte finish is achieved by sandblasting the vessel.
