In November 1921, Charles (1864-1926) and Nancy (1878-1940) Russell arrived in Denver for a two week solo exhibition at the iconic Brown Palace Hotel and Spa. This book and exhibition, The Russels in Denver, 1921, celebrate Charlie's art in paint, bronze, and print, tells the story of Denver in the early twentieth century, and acknowledges Nancy's critical role in the Russell art enterprise.
